Chartered Financial Planner
Shaun established Deans Wealth Management in 2009. With over 35 years of experience, he now leads a team that has successfully helped over 1,000 local families and businesses to meet their individual financial goals – an enduring personal motivation for Shaun. His mantra of ‘live life to the full’ also sees him cycling for charity, improving his wildlife photography, camper-vanning with his wife and dogs – as well as tending to his much loved vegetable patch.
Chartered Financial Planner
Cath is renowned for her passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients. Having worked in financial services for over 25 years, Cath is both a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. As one of the small number of female financial advisers in the UK, Cath is uniquely placed to help our female clients, who are often less comfortable with seeking financial advice. She has spoken internationally on financial services and regularly contributes to financial services publications. In the brief hours out of the office, she ‘enjoys’ CrossFit training five times each week.
Chartered Financial Planner
Ed is a Chartered Financial Planner and has been a financial adviser for over 20 years. He has been with Deans Wealth Management from the beginning and his passion is creating and delivering lifetime financial plans that his clients have Level 10 Confidence in. He also enjoys speaking on an international stage, and appears regularly as an industry expert for the BBC. When not in the office, you’ll find him half-way up a mountain in his campervan either cycling, snowboarding, or skiing.
Sam loves life at Deans so much – that already having spent three years with us back in 2008-11, he came back for more in 2018! The intervening years seeing further experiences in independent advice, tied advice and the ‘Big 4’ banks. Working closely with our Chairman Shaun, outside work Sam has a real passion for football. Unfortunately his affliction is Spurs – poor man! And, as you can see – commuting by bike, often ‘veering’ towards a somewhat creative approach to freewheeling down our many local hills!
Peter first entered the financial services sector as an IFA back in 1991. And in 2012 he joined Deans Wealth Management as a Paraplanner – bringing with him his considerable experience and knowledge of the personal and corporate financial planning world. Peter’s life is always busy, as a father of three and now a grandfather to three – he particularly values his time with his grandchildren with a good dollop of ‘Dad Joke’ humour thrown in ! When he does get some time to himself he can often be seen ‘pounding the streets’, and has taken part in a number of half marathons in the (increasingly distant!) past…
George joined Deans Wealth Management in 2022 as a Paraplanner. George initially started his career out as a performance analyst in professional football after achieving a MSc in Sports Science. Although George has a passion for sport, his real passion is in finance, where 2 years ago he decided to take the dive and start working at a financial adviser firm where he achieved his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and is now working towards Chartered status. George currently plays semi-professional football and loves anything football or sports related.
Adam joined Deans Wealth Management in 2022 with more than 10 years of experience in financial services and will be adding to our paraplanning and advice teams. Adam has achieved his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and is working towards Chartered Status. Outside work Adam enjoys watching all sport, especially his beloved Wolves and enjoys a spot of running, particularly, half-marathons over coastal trails. Adam has recently discovered a passion for cooking…. although he makes it too spicy for most!!
Gemma joined Deans Wealth Management in 2022 with over 14 years financial services experience in a variety of roles, with the most recent being a Client Relations Manager. Gemma endeavours for the best possible service for clients which is backed by the support team. Gemma is currently working towards Chartered Status and aspiring to be a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. Gemma has two daughters who enjoy getting outdoors with her, where they particularly like a good hike. Nala their cocker spaniel also loves to join in too!
Laura joined the DWM team in early 2021, having spent the last 10 years in financial services working for major banks. Laura currently heads up our administration function and has completed her RO1 and FA2 exams. Outside of work, Laura has a toddler who likes to keep her extremely busy ! And before becoming a mum she was a keen runner – completing a 10K and 2 half marathons in her first year of training… Laura also loves skiing, and is hoping to get her young son onto the slopes – so she can go on more Alpine holidays together in future!
Client Services Associate
Caitlin joined Deans Wealth Management in 2021, after graduating from Leeds Beckett University back in 2017. After an initial secondment into finance based in the City, and as someone with Financial Services running through her close family – the jump into the industry with Kingsland was the perfect challenge for her! Outside work, you will most likely find Caitlin out on her bike, in the pool with her local swim club, or running around the streets of Shrewsbury and coaching on behalf of her local triathlon club. A huge passion, she loves the training and reward that comes with all things Triathlon – and is now looking to take on some even longer distances in the future…!
Senior Client Services Associate
Lisa has spent the last 25 years working in the Financial Services and joined Deans in 2021. She has successfully completed a full suite of professional qualifications during her wide-ranging career within the sector. Lisa enjoys the ‘joyous challenges’ brought about by raising two teenage children – and when she’s not taxiing them around endlessly, she actually likes to walk her dog, watches football (unfortunately that’s Wolves!) and sometimes gets to go cycling ! Indeed, just 2 years ago Lisa completed a coast-to-coast cycle ride for charity, which she completed in just 2 days… Go girl!
